At 4J Ranch, we don’t believe in sitting in blinds and waiting, we chase down wild hogs from ATVs, UTVs, and Side-by-Sides in a full-throttle, one-day hunt that’s guaranteed to deliver. Our guided wild pig hunts are fast, fun, and built for making memories. No license required, no hidden fees, and no stress – just you, your crew, and nonstop hog hunting action.

Why One Day Beats a 3-Day Hunt (and Costs Less Overall)

Most Texas hog hunting packages look cheaper until you do the math. A “$700 hunt” that requires two days and two nights means travel days, hotel or lodge nights, meals, and time off work. At 4J Ranch, you drive in from Dallas, Houston, or College Station in the morning, chase hogs from Side-by-Sides all day, and sleep in your own bed that night.

What Every Package Includes (No Asterisks)

Guides, vehicles, hog retrieval, range access, photo staging, on-site cabin with bathroom, and covered areas to stay dry or cool — plus a free hog cook after every hunt, where we cook one of your hogs on site and the whole group eats together before heading home (bring your own drinks and sides). The wild hog meat you take home is some of the leanest, most flavorful free-range pork you’ll ever eat. Make sure to bring a cooler, and ask us about the local sausage makers who can turn it into finished product.

Booking & Deposits

Booking is refreshingly simple: all we need is two weeks’ notice. A $500 deposit reserves your date, and the balance is due in full two weeks before your hunt. Up until that two-week mark your deposit is fully transferable, and you can reschedule once at no charge; inside two weeks it’s non-refundable. While other Texas outfitters want you booking months out for multi-day trips, you can pick an open date on our booking calendar just two weeks from now and be hunting. Don’t Have a Gun? We’ve Got You Covered.

No gear? No problem. We rent out a full selection of semi-automatic and fully automatic rifles that you can use during the hunt or at the range. Want to take it up a notch? Try a crossbow, a spear, a sword — even a baseball bat for the bold. And before you leave, we usually blow something up with Tannerite just to make sure your day ends with a bang.
